Taste of Soul Festival is a citywide festival that takes place in one of Atlanta's oldest and most historic neighborhoods. Located in the Heart of America's Soul Food Capital, Taste of Soul is the largest festival West of Peachtree. This festival is known internationally for their Soul and Southern food, live R&B/Soul music, art, and Atlanta's best people watching.
To help promote healthy lifestyle choices in the community, the festival is hosting a super fun 5k. The Soul Rise 5k is Atlanta's only Labor Day weekend race and benefits early childhood development. This race runs through the heart of Atlanta's West Downtown across from the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Get your heart pumping and muscles moving and take to the streets in a run/walk for the souls of Atlanta children.
Proceeds from your registration help support early childhood development at the YMCA and local community non-profits. After the race you’ll be at the start of Taste of Soul, one of Atlanta’s largest festivals. These all-ages events are great for families and children!
Check-in for the run will be located at 10 Northside Drive, across from the Georgia Dome and Mercedes Benz Stadium. Registration for the run is $30. All runners will receive a limited-edition t-shirt to commemorate the event. For all additional information, visit www.SoulRiseClassic.com.
